Guide 2 of 3

How to read responses

Feedback should never disappear into a void. This guide explains what each status means and how to follow your feedback from “Heard” to a real answer.

The journey

What each status means

01

Heard

Every submission starts here. It means your feedback has reached your People team and is in the queue to be read. Nothing has been decided yet — but nothing has been lost, either.

02

Being looked at

Someone is actively working on what you raised: grouping it with similar feedback, checking the facts, or agreeing what to do next.

03

Responded

Your People team has written back. The response appears against your feedback in your history — what they are doing, who owns it, or an honest explanation of why something cannot change right now.

Common questions

Reading between the lines

Where do I see responses?

In your own feedback history in the portal. Everything you have submitted is listed there, newest first, with its status and any reply attached — you never have to chase anyone to find out where things stand.

What does a good response look like?

A specific action, a named owner, or a straight answer. “We are moving the Monday briefing to 9:30 from next week — Alex owns this” is a response. “Thanks, noted” is not the standard Humync is built for.

What if nothing changes?

Say so. Reply with another piece of feedback referencing the first. Patterns of unanswered feedback are exactly what the trends view is there to surface, and your history keeps the record.
